I had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hostel in Guatemala. The facilities were spotless, and the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The staff went above and beyond by organizing my airport transfer and even ensuring I didn't miss my tea before leaving. The hostel had everything I needed, from a cozy bar to a beautiful garden for yoga. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Antigua.

I stayed at Maya Papaya for two weeks as a digital nomad and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The entire staff was amazing, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The beds were even better than my own, with fresh sheets and privacy curtains for each bunk. The hostel was impeccably clean, and the social areas, like the bar and TV room, were great for relaxation and socializing. The well-equipped kitchen and library room were a bonus. The two adorable dogs added a special touch to my stay. The breakfast options, especially the fruit, yogurt, and granola, were delicious. I'm sad to leave after such a wonderful experience.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The showers were top-notch with high pressure and a perfect temperature. The location of the hotel was ideal, with everything you need within walking distance. Plus, the staff were amazing, always willing to help and provide excellent recommendations for tours and activities.
The private room didn't have a private bathroom as we had initially thought, although the staff were kind enough to switch our room when one became available. It would have been helpful if this information was clear on the website.

The staff was amazing! They were so helpful and welcoming. Also loved the location, it was close to all the fun places, but far enough away to avoid the noise. Lastly, breakfast was fantastic, with fresh fruits and delicious coffee.
I stayed in a room that had a door to another room, and the soundproofing was very poor. I could hear everything the people in the room next to me were saying.

I had an amazing Thanksgiving holiday at this hostel! Loved the free breakfast and the cool ambiance of the communal area. The free water station was a lifesaver and the location was perfect for exploring. The hostel also offers great tours that made my trip even more enjoyable.
That the dorms can be a bit noisy at night, but I didn't mind since I was in a party mood. The price was also a bit higher than other hostels, but I felt it was worth it for the quality of the facilities.
